I like him so much, probably love him. But our opinions are so different on so many major things, like religion, politics, and other beliefs. And though I've learned to accept our differences, he just loves to debate them with me. And I can't take it anymore. I hate debating, and he doesn't see how fed up I am with it anymore. It's pushing me away from him, because now he's not only debating with me, but he's insulting my beliefs, my family, and almost everything I stand for. I don't know what to do, but I feel like I'm going to stop talking to him soon if all he wants to do is debate with me. And I don't want that to happen.

Thank you for your help, everyone. I'll try to talk to him and see what happens. Hopefully, the result will turn out good.
And by the way, Lira, I have a friend that goes by that name, too. I might just be your friend. :Dby Florina at -
You remind me so much of my friend. Seriously. From your name to the debating. And I think you should just say that. If you're who I think you are, he'll understand.by Lira

I agree with Kay. If you haven't spoken up about it yet, do say. Really lay down the line and say so!by anonymous at

If you "probably love him" then you don't actually love him. Don't dive into deep emotions just yet.by anonymous at

Dont feel like hes attacking you- I love to debate too. But if he is pushing your limit and overstepping the boundaries of respect, its time for you to enforce them. No amount of like or love should leave one wavering in the tings truly important- family, religion, morals.by Kay
